Separate fit from logistics

At inquiry, you need to know whether you serve the location, project, budget range, and timeline. After booking, you can confirm the address, parking, access, and who will be home.

Use questions that invite context

  • What prompted you to reach out now?
  • Which one or two areas would make the biggest difference?
  • Is there a deadline, move, or life change we should plan around?
  • Who needs to be involved in decisions about belongings?

Make difficult questions optional

Do not require a diagnosis, explanation of a family situation, or home photos to request help. Offer a private conversation instead. Review answers before a consultation and avoid asking the client to repeat their entire story.

Before you use a sample

These are operational planning examples, not legal advice or a finished legal agreement. Have a qualified local lawyer review your terms, cancellation rights, fees, and liability language. Some in-home sales have statutory cancellation rights that a business policy cannot replace.
