Thank the client, summarize the service they asked about, and give one clear next step. Avoid estimating a whole-home project from a single photo.

Send a useful post-session recap
List the work completed, decisions still needed, any agreed purchases, and the next appointment. Distinguish a suggestion from an approved expense.
Today we completed [areas]. You decided to [decisions]. Before next time, the only action needed is [action]. Our next session is [date]. Any product purchases will be confirmed with you before ordering.
Follow up with care
Ask whether the system is working in the client’s daily life. A useful question is “What is hardest to put away?” Ask separately for a review or portfolio permission; neither should be a condition of support.
